Day after the vacation. Spent unpacking and resting and catching up on all the lost sleep. Was suppose to go eat lunch with family but they decided not to wake us up. After, mom called to ask if we wanted to go to Costco. Showered and got ready. Costco, took pictures with the giant teddybear, lol.
Day 15.
I don't think I did anything on this day. I remember watching Just Go With It with my sister. I love Adam Sandler. :D Yep, don't remember doing anything else of significance.
Day 16.
Coro orientation! Woke up early to get ready and curl my hair. Ate mashed potatoes. Got Jorge to drive me. Got lost, but found our way quickly. Got there perfectly on time. Signed in and did the icebreakers. I think most people, if not everyone, from our group in the selection day got in. LOL. Good, more familiar faces. Then we had to go in the middle of the circle, introduce ourselves, then bust a move. Fuck my life? Yes. You'd think I'd be comfortable with this because we have to do things similar to this all the time in Theater, but no. I don't like this at all. LOL. Then we did the dancing thing with random parts of our bodies. Er. Awkward.
Got separated into SF group and Oakland group. Interviewed our partners, but we couldn't write what they were saying down. We couldn't write anything, only pictures. I drew mostly stick people and when I presented, i was like WTF does this mean even though I drew it. ._. (My sister later on laughed really hard over my drawings because they suck and don't make any sense.) My voice felt strained like I was losing my voice or it wouldn't come out. WHUT. This is not a good time to fail on me. ._. I'm usually good with public speaking. Da hell? Played the "I Seek Common Ground" game. ._. "I seek common ground with people who have hair." Cleverclever. LOL.
Went downstairs to potluck. Sat with Melanie and her family the whole time. I like her mom, gave me great tips on internships and jobs. One thing she said stuck to me "Never said 'I don't know', say 'I will find out'." This just stuck out to me. Interesting. Anyway, ate, then played games. Then got separated from Oakland group and again and got told about Coro. Omg, we're going to Marin Headlands again. Without my Out of Site kids though? How sad. The only reason I loved and enjoyed Marin Headlands so much was because I had such lovely people with me. Not to be a downer or whatever, but I have a feeling I won't really like or be close to this group of kids with the exception of one or two. ._. I hope i get proved wrong, of course.
Yawp, then left with my mama. Sat in traffic on the Oakland bridge for like 2 hours. There was this cute little girl who kept waving to me from the other car though. Whenever our cars would pass each other, we would wave. It was soo cute and it made us smile. Hahaha. Overall, pretty good day. Not what I expected but the rule list and deduction sheet is kind of scaring me away. ._.
