Intense practice &Carnival w/Christian + Jesse!(:

So today, i wanted to go to the 'field trip' thing for Alfie. It was just joining him in his practice for Carnival with Loco Bloco. So i overslept a little and hurried and rushed to get ready. Like seriously rushed. Then my mom's boyfriend drove me there. I went inside, kind of confused. Then i saw a group of people playing and i saw Alfie. I kinda stood next to him, waiting for the next song to stop so i can talk to him but all he said to me was, "Jessica, grab a strap." and i couldn't really find any straps. Just snares. But i went inside, texted Mimi cause i saw DANILLO there.

I was like wtf.. Then i saw Christian and Jesse.(: I went in the back with Jesse, hugged him, and he was telling me to go on a middle with him. But there wasn't any middles or straps. He was telling me how he never seen Alfie this intense before. It was kinda scary and intimidating. I was talking to him a little bit but i suddenly heard, "Jessica! I need you here on snare!" I was like FUUUCK, in my mind. Then that one guy, Ron? I think. Got me situated with a snare and sticks and everything. I didn't know how i was gonna play. I didn't know WHAT the hell they were playing cause i came late but all i know was that i was suppose to play SOMETHING. So i was standing next to Christian with a "FUCK! WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSE TO PLAY?!" look on my face. He just laughed at me and tried to play along with the others. So i used the old guy next to Christian as a guide of what i'm suppose to play.

I was just so confused at first. Then they went on to the next song, and seriously, it was intense. Alfie wanted it to be absolutely PERFECT. He was stopping everything and yelling at us and everything. He was all like, "Don't give me the stink eye when YOU'RE the one who can't play!" i was like ..holy crap. I never seen him so serious. He's usually really chill and laid back. Today, he was just really frustrated and yelling. I was pretty frustrated too. First, i'm not great with snare to begin with. Now, i have to play snare along with everyone else without even KNOWING the beats and what i'm suppose to be playing. After 5 minutes or so, i got the beat down. Partly. I was still pretty confused because i wasn't sure when the breaks come in and stuff. Alfie kept yelling. He was REALLY stressed and tired, i could tell. Seriously never seen him like that. I kept looking back at Jesse like 'HOLY CRAP'. That boy was rocking out there on the middle though. I almost wanted to switch to middle cause snare was not working for me. But either Alfie didn't hear my screw ups, or he didn't bother to correct me since i wasn't part of Carnaval, he didn't yell or scream at me, Christian, or Jesse.

After a break, the guy who told me to go on the snare said 'good job' to me. At first, i thought he said "Give me the drum." LOL. I don't know. I was deaf, till i asked him to repeat what he said. He asked me if it was my first time playing and i said yes. Christian told him that i was part of Out of Site, ectect. He said that i was doing really good, especially cause i came in the middle and had to figure out what exactly they were playing cause i sure as hell never learned it. I thanked him, introduced myself, and yea. We kept playing at i got it more. I watched the dancers dance and the singer. And blahblahblah. Christian dropped his drumstick once. I laughed. LOL. Then when we had a break, my drumstick fell. It was his turn to laugh, but he picked it up for me. LOL, he's lucky i didn't hit anyone! LOL. We kept playing and my left hand was started to cramp and get sore. It's still sore now. But it was fun. It definitely improved my snare skills. LOL. I'm more confident on the snare now cause before, i made sure to stay AWAY from the snare unless Alfie told me to get on it.

So we ran it through once more and we called it a day. They told us to pack up the drums and everything and get it ready for Carnaval. He told them to put some work into their costumes and make it really good. Me, Christian, and Jesse just put the drums inside and stuff. We went outside to get more drums and there was a little boy playing on a bass. Well, he was just randomly banging it but it was still cute. The old man that i was trying to get the rhythm out of was going like "Wow, he ALREADY plays better than me." LOL! That's too cute. He was hitting the bass with a drumstick so i got the mallets and made Christian put them back. Then we went out into the halls. Alfie was there. He said hi to us, thanked us for coming. Gave us all handshakes and fist punches. LOL, i love how he doesn't treat me differently than all the other guys.(: And he told us he'd be DJing later and we should go watch. We said yea and walked to Carnaval.:D Christian was saying how i was one hour late. Ayee, at least i actually came! Bryant, Jack, Paublo, and Romero didn't come. Jeeez. LOL, and i honestly thought it started at 10.xD Jesse was trying to teach me how to ride again. LOL fail.XD

So we walked there talking about food and chips. Jesse said that in Mexico, cheetos there are green or purple or something! I want somee. And i told them about how i never got sunburned but i want to. They said i was lucky, but i said they were lucky they got sunburned. I want one! LOLOL. We could already smell the food and hear the music a street away. LOL. We talked about how scary Alfie was. Christian said that he's always that way before Carnaval. Jesse said that he kept screaming when people messed up, but with us, he's just like "Eh, its cool. Do it over." Christian was like "It's cause we're not performing at Carnival. When we did last time, he was the same way." That's seriously scary. But i guess he needs everything to be perfect. So we got there, police had to check us. They had those stick things and ran it across our body. They didn't check Jesse though, only me and Christian. We joked that it was cause Jesse was white. LOL!

So we walked, and there were food stands everywhere! And Jesse was just flocking to them! Me and Christian were just like "Watch, we're gonna lose him." ahaha. I can't tell you how many times we thought we lost him.XD We kept walking, Jesse stopping at every food stand asking for free samples. ROFL. God, he's so Asian. So we walked, stopped to listen to some bands play. Jesse got really into the music. At the second band, he asked me to dance. I was like "Uh, go ask Christian." LOL. He's like "I would dance with him, but i much rather dance with you." Ahaha, failed attempt to dance with me though. Rejected! LOL kidding.<3 Then he said that he wanted to see how the saxaphone player looked like so he went to the front of the stage and just watched. I seriously felt like his mother. Me and Christian were like "Look! There he goes! Let's follow him!" LOLOL. When we caught up to him, he told us he wanted to see Alfie play cause we told him we would. But there was this other band behind them. Jesse asked if they were playing next and they said yea so we knew Alfie wasn't gonna be on any time soon.

So we walked to the hula hoop place where they let us play with hula hoops. Christian was playing with the hula hoops. He bragged that he could do it longest out of everyone last year. So he was beasting that shit. ROFL. Then Jesse tried, i was hella tired, just sitting on his skateboard. They tried to do the spinning on leg thing but they failed, epically. LOL. They told me to try but i was too tired to pwn them.(: So Christian did it around his neck. He was like "This hurts so much. It feels like I'm getting choked.. By a short person. Like Jessica!" -__- LOL. Then he had like redass marks on his neck. He was like "Did it leave a mark?" and Jesse was like "It looked like you got a fatass hickey!" Ahahhahaah. "That's not cool, man." LMFAO, oh god. These boys are hilarious!

Then we walked and Jesse suddenly stopped and me and Christian were like "There he goes!" and followed him. The stand attracted him because there was a poster of boobs.. I seriously felt like a mother. LOL. He was playing this game called "Bust or Butt?" where you have to guess if the poster has a picture of a butt or boobs. They were celebrity butts and boobs too. LOL. It was really funny watched Jesse guess if it was a butt or boobs. He got most of them right, i think. "Those look like some boobies." ROFL. God, i was just standing next to him laughing my ass off.XD And Christian was just like shaking his head disapprovingly. LOL! He won some candy for checking out boobs and butts. Nice.xD

Then we continued walking and Jesse asked if i went to Balboa. I was like "Yea." and he's like "All the balboa boys hit on you, huh?" LMFAO. I was like "..No.):" LMFAO. He looked surprised and was like "Forreal?!" ROFL.xD For real.(: And Jesse knew hella people there. O.o Everytime he saw someone, me and Christian were like "Again." LOLOL. Then we kept walking and there was this game so we decided to watch. They were speaking spanish, and when they asked for volunteers, of course Jesse was first to raise his hand to participate. LOL. The girls were wearing masks and the guys were wearing wigs and aprons.

I don't even know. LOL. They were speaking in Spanish and they gave the mic to the other guy and he said something in Spanish and they said something to Jesse in Spanish and gave the mic to him. Jesse was looking so confused, he was like "..hola." LMFAO. The audience laughed. Christian and i were laughing our asses off.xD But when the music played, the girl had to walk around the guys and grab onto them like in musical chairs. Jesse was so confused. LOL. Then two girls grabbed onto Jesse and Jesse just put his arms around them. The whole audience laughed. LOL, that little player.xD Then the girls walked again and they had to slap Jesse's butt whenever they passed him and Jesse STUCK his butt out for them to slap. Till an old man came through wanting to slap his butt. He was like "NOO." and covered it. The audience laughed again. ROFL. We watched for hella long and Christian said that i was too short to see what was happening. I could see!D: He picked me up. LOL. I love how he can do that whenever he wants and i can't do anything about it because apparently, i'm light. LOL. After the whole thing was done, Jesse got a frisbee. Then he pointed to us and they gave him another frisbee and those clapper thingies. He gave me a frisbee and Christian a clapper thing. He loved it. ROFL.

Then we went to the batting cages. There was this black guy in there who couldn't hit any of them and then came out saying he beasted. His black friends were like "You sucked!" LOL. And he's like "Whateva. You just jealous." ROFL. Christian was saying how much he sucked, cause Christian plays baseball. I never knew that. LOL! And Jesse plays basketball. I'm not athletic like them. LOL. Then Jesse saw another person he knew. A girl, of course. LOL. They talked for hella long, and then he played frisbee with this little boy. How cuute.(: Ahaha. I just sat on the skateboard cause i was just soo tired. And after, we went to see the bouncing things. They looked REALLY cool but it was 3 dollars.. Uh, how bout no. LOL. I got onto the skateboard and Jesse offered his arm to me. I linked my arm through his and he dragged me.(: He said i was getting pro at it. LOL.(: So we went back out and we got more free samples of food. Jesse talked to these protection people. I found out that he got jumped two years ago and got knocked out. He still gets dizzy everyday. That is sad. Cause of something that happened two years ago, it still affects him today.):

We went to this other stand where they sold drugged candy? They were authorized dealers.O.o I don't know. But they sold candy with a little bit of weed or other shiet in them. Jesse was checking them out. He asked about the lolipops. They said it doesn't get you high, but it gets you by, whatever that means. O.o They were $3 for a lollipop with drugs in them. I'm not sure if thats cheap or expensive cause i don't know drugs buut.. idk. Jesse asked if we smoked and me and Christian are like "Eh, no." Does Jesse smoke? I'm still not sure. LOL. But the idea of that was pretty cool. Drugged candy. Huh. you can like eat it in school or something and no one will have a clue. ROFL.

Then he went to go buy some food. He talked the person into selling to to him for $2 or $3 dollars left. LOL! We sat down and he ate. He asked me if i wanted any and i said no. I wasn't hungry. Just hot and tired. LOL. He was like "You having a good time, Jessica?" and i'm like "Yea, its fun." :D Ahaha, so after he was done eating. We watched this other band play. Jesse was like "Jessica, you are going to dance with me." And i was like "Uh no." and he just grabbed my hand and pulled me to the middle of the dancing people. He put his hand on my waist and taught me how to dance. Ahaha, I've got to admit. It was fun.(: He was like "Ok, Jessica. Imma twirl you!" LOL, i spun and we danced a little bit more.XD That was really my first time dancing with a guy. It's just not my thing. But i do admit, it was fun.:D

We went back to Christian and started heading out. Jesse was meeting up with friends later and Christian was going home, then out to the movies. And i just wanted to go home to sleep. LOL. I was really tired.xD So we walk a little bit and Jesse decided he was going to stay there just a little bit longer. We hugged him goodbye and me and Christian walked back to the school. He made fun of how short and clumsy i was. LOL. He said he was surprised he hasn't seen me trip yet. LOL! Ayee.): At least i never hit Alfie, like Jesse. LOL. We got to the busstop and he was trying to find the fastest way home. I called my mom's boyfriend to pick me up. So we waited together at the busstop till i started walking. He followed me and said he was gonna take the J. He hugged me and picked me up. LOL. And my mom's boyfriend came. He bought me something to drink and we went home.

I'm going back to Carnival tomorrow too. With Mimi this time. I hope to see people perform.:D It's gonna be fuun, hopefully.(:
